The competition has intensified toward low mileage in the Japanese Automobile Industry. To meet these needs, we have succeeded in the development of a low friction loss belt for accessory drive systems.
Friction loss due to bending and deformation of the belt is reduced by suppressing the internal heat generation of the belt rib, and succeeds in improving the transmission efficiency of the belt; we were able to lower fuel consumption with the auxiliary belt alone. Within automotive products, it is said to be 30,000 parts.
Furthermore, innovative products are both functional and compatible, which are extending to be used in automotive manufactures.
