Slide Type Seal
Star Wiper Slide Type Seal
Machine tool wipers with high scraping performance ability and excellent durability. This wiper is suitable for scraping sliding beds and other parts where accuracy must be maintained.
Features
・Wipers are mounted on the sliding sections of machine tools, etc. to remove cutting chips, oil and so forth; thereby helping to maintain the machining precision of machine tools that require highly accurate machining.
・Superior durability as the result of being made from NBR rubber, which is oil resistant and wear resistant.
・Steel plate surface is treated for anti-corrosion in accordance with RoHS directives.
・Additional processing such as drilling and cutting is also available.
・For slide-type seals, integrated molding products that match the sliding bed shape are available. The seals are seamless, therefore offering excellent sealing performance compared to standard parts that are assembled. Easily and quickly mounted on machines, thereby reducing the time required for installation.
・Also supports preventing the lip of the slide seal from curling.

Precautionary Items at Time of Design
・Please make design considering a press allowance of 0.5mm on the part drawing.
・Confirm on assembly drawings, etc. that a press allowance of 0.5mm overlaps with the steel plate.
